Who doesn't love schwag?!
My daughter and I wanted to take her senior pics in Colorado while on our yearly family Colorado vacation, it was a last minute idea. My daughter found Allison Ragsdale online and contacted her. She ended up having an opening and we were not disappointed. Allison was so sweet and helped us so much ahead of time with everything from clothing, location, and what my daughters ideas were. On the day she was so good at looking at my daughters clothes and helping her decide what to wear at each location, then Allison and her assistant drove us around to all the awesome locations that she had picked out. It was such a fun day, and the pictures were absolutely amazing!
My biggest fear was that I would be super awkward and uncomfortable in the pictures and that they would not turn out like I had wanted. What happened was the exact opposite! Allison made it easy to be in front of the camera and I felt like I knew what I was doing every shoot! Allison definitely knew what I wanted out of the pictures and perfectly captured what I was looking for. My favorite part of working with Allison so far was the spring solo shoot. I really liked working with her and her team one on one and chatting it up with them. The photos turned out great! I would say to a friend that Allison is by far the best in Durango because of the quality and variety of her work. The pictures are truly personal and not over the top.
My biggest fear was that my kids would be uncomfortable and camera shy. You made them feel so comfortable that they really enjoy having their pictures taken. Our favorite part of working with you is that you make it fun and you are so creative and you allow the kids to bring their own styles and personalities out. I tell my friends and family that they will not find a more genuine, kind person to work with. The pictures are always amazing and so is the experience of taking them.
My biggest fear before hiring Allison was not feeling comfortable with or in-front of the camera but every shoot we have done I have a lot of fun and feel focused on and you make it very comfortable! I love the creativity and options for shoots and the many different fun ideas!! It is always a great experience! I love working with Allison, she puts in a lot of time and effort to everyone and everything! She gives phenomenal pictures!!
Frequently Asked Questions
How much do the products cost after the session?
Our packages start at $750, but honestly, I would budget $800-$900 to get everything you need. But don't be surprised if you love them all and want to spend more than that.
How many outfit changes are allowed?
We include The Standard Session, which gives you the option to wear 3 outfits. You can upgrade toThe Ultimate Session, which includes 6 outfits.
Do I get the images on disk?
Digital files do not come included with this program but when you purchase your senior pictures, you can purchase digital versions. We deliver digital images, whether they are online sharing sizes included free with printed purchases or purchased full resolution files, via a Dropbox link or a USB drive.
Can we travel more than 30 miles?
Yes! Most of the locations we photograph in are within 30 miles of our studio and that is what is included in our session fees but we LOVE to travel so this doesn't apply to the Destination Session or the Day with Allison Session.
When should these portraits be taken? I haven’t even begun senior year yet.
Most high schools have a yearbook deadline of early or late fall which means you have to have your session photographed before then. It's hard to find time for a session once you start back to school and sports so summer is the best time for senior sessions. Plus the weather is the most dependable in the summer.
What if they don’t turn out, or I don’t like them?
This hardly ever happens because we ask you what you want during your planning meeting and during the session - it's a collaborative process. However, we understand the concern and offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee, so we'd reshoot and make sure you love them!
